Tugas gw hari ini adalah menjadi seorang: tour guide! Wohooo.

 I had this funniest little creature sleeping over in my place...

She'll be spending a month in Jakarta doing a credit certification,

a requirement for her office promotion.

Been pretty lazy today, we woke up at 10, then started our day at 1 p.m. Hahaa...

Ully minta dianterin beli kuru-kuru, so
we went to Lippo Karawaci. Udah lamaaa banget ga kesini.
And nothing could stop me from buying the green tea mochi. Yumm.

On our way back.. Singing along in my car..

and Ully had fallen in love with one of

my fav Spanish songs by Nelly Furtado.. :p

Along the way, we decided to have dinner

at the Nanny's. They just opened a new outlet in Alam Sutera.

Here, the theme of the place was a barn.

Ully ordered the hot tuna spaghetty.. And as always, I had my

favourite tuna baked rice...

Got your tongue burnt, ul? Blame it on the chilli powder! :p

For the after meal... The peanut-filled roll pancake is a must!

Yes. Diet luluh lantak.

Next.. before leaving the place. Time's for window shopping...

Coba ini, coba itu, ending up... Ga beli apa-apa. Huehehe... So typical! :p

A wedding gift for a best friend.

Blogging and photography.

Looks like they are my new getaways thesedays...

Referring to my prior post months ago,
I finally finished the pre-wed project for my best friend, Fika.

Alhamdulillah... I satisfied enough with the results.

Though the photo session was not well prepared I must say.

Here are some of the best shots ... So glad that she was very happy with my work ;)

Those were taken at a resto named Grasshopper.

Somewhere faaarr faaarrr away in Tangerang.

A place not quite well known. Not too bad, eh? :p

Tomorrow... June the 17th, will be their big day.

I'm praying the best for them.

Truly honored to be given the chance to give them special wedding gift,

and definetely happy that they've made it this far.

Get well soon, Pakde.

Went home quite late today. I made a time to see my relative who's being hospitalized... An uncle.
I know I should have visited him long long time before this.

Reached the hospital, I stunned.. My uncle's body was all wasted. So thin, so weak.
Matter of fact, the last time I saw him a couple months ago, he looked very fine. Brain tumor had left him into bones and skin.

"Halo, Pakde... Apa kabar? Hayoo kenal ga sama aku?" I whispered very close on his ear, tried to wake him up.
Slowly he opened his eyes, "Ira...", then his cry broke. I couldn't handle myself not crying,
I hugged him. Very tight.

Just a few months earlier, he complained of decreased vision.. Had undergone the cataract operation, still there were no improvement with his sight. At the same time, his hearing function was also deteriorating. Further exams then performed... MRI, CT and a skull biopsy. Then it was found that he's got 3 different primary tumors of the brain. A glioma had pushed his optic nerve and suppressed his cognitive function. While the two others had caused him to lose the ability to hear and speak.

After more than 12 cycles of radiotheraphy been performed, alhamdulillah, his condition got better and better. He's now able to speak and recognize people.

Yang kuat ya, Pakde. Cepet sembuh.... You'll get through this, with us. Insya Allah.
