Cipto Hospital, 22nd of June 2011
I would call myself lucky to get this job of documenting the inaguration of one of my consultants, Dr. TGD. This event was held as an appreciation of the Indonesian Academy of Science for his contribution to medical science. Here, he was given the honor to give a lecture. Unlike an everyday-ophthalmology lecture we had in medicine, his lecture titled "Menguak Jendela Hati", impressed me. Oh, how come it didn't? It was really like peeling off the eyes, piece by piece. Seeing them to the deepest, from every value. From the anatomy, to physiology, to even the religious phylosophy in really comprehendible ways. He added the ingredients of illusion, color vision and perpectives nicely into one bowl. It needs no scientist to digest his words, I'm pretty much sure even lay people would be put in awesomeness. Yet, it does need a years-experienced person to make such inspiring lecture. This old man is amazing.

"To be conscious, a man needs to break his own internal shell..."
Indeed, it is not. 80% of what a person sees, since s/he was born, are those what shape his/her behaviour.
Kyra, his grand daughter, one of his inspirations. Lovely little princess.
Kyra's eyes taken as the cover image of his presentation.
During the press conference...
Sir, starting now, I'm a big fan. ;)
