Hey there.. It's me again, procrastinating assignments. With swimming words in my head, here I go~ feels like posting something.
July, July, July.
Looks like it's approaching its end.
Okay, let's say this kinda random, but I'm reminded of what happened a few weeks ago. I was home, so exhausted, that I went to bed early in the afternoon. I was like one piece of corpse until there was this knock on my door around 12 AM.
It was mom.
I knew she knew I was asleep, but she went, "Kamu masih bangun kan?"
Worries drawn so clear on her face. I knew she needed to talk.Yes. She was worry, about me. About the things I've told her a couple of times earlier. Issues regarding schools. About situation I'm facing now, that got me very insecure almost everyday. I really wish I could grab her, erase all those worries in her eyes, and say that I am okay. Though I know exactly I am not.
At the end of our talk, she went with this conversation regarding forgiveness. About no matter how you hate a person, since this person has ruined your life, or your loved one's, just don't try to confront. Because you're just gonna be as bad as this person is. We never know what's on this person's mind, that turned her to be what she is.
I stared. It's really not an easy thing for me to do.
As I once said, it's my nature to easily forgive, but I can't forgive everything.
July is ending, Ramadhan is near, and it feels so bad that I still could not forgive someone. That I still got this loath I can't crack.
As Forrest Gump would say, "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get”. And somehow that's how I define my life, too. Here I am, framing my days and pouring them into words, photos, or random things I like.

July the 9th, 2011
I was helping my friend to take some shots at her new resto in Jalan Cikini.
It's Saturday.
It's 9 p.m towards the dawn.
And it's at the Upstairs.
Enjoy the pics...
All eyes on stage, and the crowd were blown away.
No surprise that Sule, is, a good voice.
And no surprise he was, entertaining.

My plan for studying was a bit messed up today.
Hey paperwork, sorry for neglecting you.
Not really a kind of place for me in looking for fun to..
But I made up with good shots and great companion anyhow.
So, it's me greeting you a good early morning..
Cheers,
Indira.

Results weren't that bad for a Nikonian like me, eh? :p

More than meets the eye.
Cipto Hospital, 22nd of June 2011
I would call myself lucky to get this job of documenting the inaguration of one of my consultants, Dr. TGD. This event was held as an appreciation of the Indonesian Academy of Science for his contribution to medical science. Here, he was given the honor to give a lecture. Unlike an everyday-ophthalmology lecture we had in medicine, his lecture titled "Menguak Jendela Hati", impressed me. Oh, how come it didn't? It was really like peeling off the eyes, piece by piece. Seeing them to the deepest, from every value. From the anatomy, to physiology, to even the religious phylosophy in really comprehendible ways. He added the ingredients of illusion, color vision and perpectives nicely into one bowl. It needs no scientist to digest his words, I'm pretty much sure even lay people would be put in awesomeness. Yet, it does need a years-experienced person to make such inspiring lecture. This old man is amazing.

"To be conscious, a man needs to break his own internal shell..."
Indeed, it is not. 80% of what a person sees, since s/he was born, are those what shape his/her behaviour.
Kyra, his grand daughter, one of his inspirations. Lovely little princess.
Kyra's eyes taken as the cover image of his presentation.
During the press conference...
Sir, starting now, I'm a big fan. ;)

"Ra. Someday, we are all gonna laugh of what had happened these days and finally see of how small our problems were... You're gonna be fine," -HT-
Then, like the cigarette smoke he blew to the air... For a while, all my worries... Faded.
Hey sahabat lama, terima kasih.

Amuzing Saturday!
Tugas gw hari ini adalah menjadi seorang: tour guide! Wohooo.
I had this funniest little creature sleeping over in my place...
She'll be spending a month in Jakarta doing a credit certification,
a requirement for her office promotion.
Been pretty lazy today, we woke up at 10, then started our day at 1 p.m. Hahaa...
Ully minta dianterin beli kuru-kuru, so
we went to Lippo Karawaci. Udah lamaaa banget ga kesini.
And nothing could stop me from buying the green tea mochi. Yumm.

On our way back.. Singing along in my car..
and Ully had fallen in love with one of
my fav Spanish songs by Nelly Furtado.. :p
Along the way, we decided to have dinner
at the Nanny's. They just opened a new outlet in Alam Sutera.
Here, the theme of the place was a barn.
Ully ordered the hot tuna spaghetty.. And as always, I had my
For the after meal... The peanut-filled roll pancake is a must!
Yes. Diet luluh lantak.
Next.. before leaving the place. Time's for window shopping...
Coba ini, coba itu, ending up... Ga beli apa-apa. Huehehe... So typical! :p
Looks like the night's getting late..
Going home, shall we?
So, isn't today just great?
Until our next day trip, Ully dear.. :*
Buenas noche.

Blogging and photography.
Looks like they are my new getaways thesedays...
Referring to my prior post months ago,
I finally finished the pre-wed project for my best friend, Fika.
I finally finished the pre-wed project for my best friend, Fika.
Alhamdulillah... I satisfied enough with the results.
Though the photo session was not well prepared I must say.
Those were taken at a resto named Grasshopper.
Somewhere faaarr faaarrr away in Tangerang.
A place not quite well known. Not too bad, eh? :p
Tomorrow... June the 17th, will be their big day.
I'm praying the best for them.
Truly honored to be given the chance to give them special wedding gift,
and definetely happy that they've made it this far.
Love you so much, Pikachu. ;')

Get well soon, Pakde.
Went home quite late today. I made a time to see my relative who's being hospitalized... An uncle.
I know I should have visited him long long time before this.
Reached the hospital, I stunned.. My uncle's body was all wasted. So thin, so weak.
Matter of fact, the last time I saw him a couple months ago, he looked very fine. Brain tumor had left him into bones and skin.
"Halo, Pakde... Apa kabar? Hayoo kenal ga sama aku?" I whispered very close on his ear, tried to wake him up.
Slowly he opened his eyes, "Ira...", then his cry broke. I couldn't handle myself not crying,
I hugged him. Very tight.
Just a few months earlier, he complained of decreased vision.. Had undergone the cataract operation, still there were no improvement with his sight. At the same time, his hearing function was also deteriorating. Further exams then performed... MRI, CT and a skull biopsy. Then it was found that he's got 3 different primary tumors of the brain. A glioma had pushed his optic nerve and suppressed his cognitive function. While the two others had caused him to lose the ability to hear and speak.
After more than 12 cycles of radiotheraphy been performed, alhamdulillah, his condition got better and better. He's now able to speak and recognize people.
Yang kuat ya, Pakde. Cepet sembuh.... You'll get through this, with us. Insya Allah.
